Question
Our Homecare Managers are not very technical or computer literate, how easy is the system to use.
 
Answer
Homecare 3G is very user friendly, intuitive and therefore easy to use. In our experience Staff can relate to the system very easily, see the immediate benefits of how it can make their lives easier in the day to day management of of a busy Homecare service provider office with the numerous ad hoc changes required as a result of changing staff absences, availability etc.

Increasingly we are being asked to provide all kinds of reports to our service users, corporate clients and central government, how can the Homecare 3G system help with this.
 
Answer 
The Homecare 3G 3G system will allow searching/filtering of any field on the database. This then allows a series of filters to be applied in order to build up intelligent queries. This powerful feature allows the users to report on any aspect of their clients database and these “bespoke reports” can then be saved for future use. In addition, all reports can be exported in a variety of formats Excel, MSWord,
 
Question
What about user security, confidential information, etc.
 
Answer
All sensitive data is protected from unauthorised access and integrity of the data is protected.
 
All data between the client application and data server can be encrypted using industry standard methods.  The Jontek solution supports HTTPS over Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) 3.0 and Transport Security Layer (TSL).
 
 The system contains referential data integrity and is based on industry standard relational database technology.  The system also allows full backup facilities and the audit log can be archived.
 
The system allows administrators to provide various levels of information security to different users and allocates and controls the passwords provided. The administrators can create an audit log of user activity and use it as a diagnostic tool in the event of a possible fault or user query.

What audit trail and logging facilities does your software provide?
 
Answer
A full audit facility is within the system allowing users with the correct security level to report on actions taken within the system. The system contains referential data integrity and is based on industry standard relational database technology.  The password security system allows different user levels of security, configurable by a system administrator. System parameters are fully user configurable.

Can your homecare rostering system interface with our other systems?
 
Answer
The ease of interfacing to other systems is a prime design objective of Jontek's systems to enable improvements in efficiency by way of reducing manual data entry and duplicated effort. Our solutions are e-gif compliant and have been designed to allow integration with existing systems and link into Corporate Wide or Local area networks for transferring information. This allows information between departments' databases to be exchanged, financial information to be passed to the accounts department and vital services to be monitored by other relevant divisions of the organisation.

How long will the new system take to implement?
 
Answer
Typically between 10 – 20 weeks, depending on the size of the system, the quality of data and resources available.
Our Project Managers are PRINCE 2 qualified practitioners and have a wealth of experience implementing within local government and private organisations across the UK.

Is there any out of hours support?
 
Answer
Our Support Desk, based in Cheshire, responds to calls between 9.00am and 5pm.  Outside those hours our Regional Engineers will respond to priority 1 calls i.e. where systems are business critical.

Is there an easy way to see where and what is happening in the field, i.e. are all my client visits covered?
 
Answer
Yes, the staff and client wallplanner is a single screen where you can find out if there are any uncovered visits, where your staff are due to go next, what services they are going to provide and if there are any unplanned staff absences that need covering.
